The Garden

My lettuce eaten away
broccoli, spinach, lettuce box

The sweet peas and blue lake beans

My little helper

I have been working on my garden for the past few weekends mainly weeding and turning the soil. I have three boxes and a large open area to plant. The open area I can rototill but the boxes I turn and weed by had it is a good work out. I love this weather and love being outside it makes it hard to get my housework done.
Last weekend I planted some broccoli, spinach, and head lettuce for a late winter garden. When I check it this morning I discovered I have a thief. All of my lettuce was eaten as well as the spinach I guess he does not like broccoli. I suspect it is the baby jackrabbit I see on our lawn in the evening I guess it is back to Lowes for some fencing. Today I planted sweet peas and blue lake beans. I hope that mister rabbit does not visit tonight or it will be war.
