I came across this pic from Connor's Birthday, no he did not attend his party in his underwear, lol the bouce house arrived early so they were outside bouncing in thier underwear before the party started. They love to run around in their underwear I am sure those of you moms with boys will agree with me, they must get it from thier fathers lol. My parents had arrived early and had let him open his present which was a cape and of couse there was one for Chance too so i just had to get this picture of them before they headed off to bounce notice the cowboy boots Chance is wearing, this will be a good picture to post on a memory board when they graduate from hight school in the future. I seem to have many of those
Just more of me practicing my photography

Tide pools

On Wednesday of the second week we took the boys up the road to the tide pools. They had fun looking for crabs and sea creatures. Chance of course lost interest and started jumping from rock to rock giving me a heart attack because the rocks are so slippery. I was afraid I was going to have to visit the ER.

more pictures for newport beach

Here is a picture of the house we stayed in. It was nice to have the sand box right off the porch so the boys had some where to play. At low tide they could hope down off the wall and play in the sand by the water.

Family vacation

We are finally back to reality after two weeks in Newport Beach. The family picture was take on the dock of the house where we stayed, that is the bay and the view from the porch in the background. We had so much fun we went to the beach, Medieval Times,Disneyland, tide pools. WE didn't want to come home it was so relaxing the house was on the Balboa peninsula and was right on the bay and you could walk across the street to the beach. We went with my parents, my aunt and uncle, my brother his girlfriend, and my sister and her boyfriend. This house was perfect for all that stayed it was in great location too.You could ride bikes down the two lane bike path along the beach for miles (the boys loved that) , walk to the Ferris wheel, walk a few restaurants/bars(one night we watched my brothers girlfriend karaoke, she was better than anyone else there), and walk to the ferry that would take you to Balboa island for shopping. The hardest thing about being back home is adjusting to the heat the hottest it got there was 82. The boys also had a good time playing with their cousins whom they don't get to see very often. They practically lived outside. Chance tried crab and clam chowder for the first time and loved it. Every time we went to a restaurant he asked if they had crab. I guess he has an expensive pallet. We had a great time and got to see lots of family that we don't see often enough. I cant wait for next year.
